  1. I am a loving person from a loving household who always forgive,
I am a kind person from a kind household who help each other,
I am a persevering person from a family who never give up,
And I have all of the qualities that my family do.

  2. Where I am from
I am from a race that rose up from prejudice
    from the most diverse country
filled with different kinds of foods and people
from birthday jollof rice to Saturday pancakes
and movie nights to staying up all night
from corn jokes to hilarious ones
people say what can you do trying to mocks
but their jaws on the floor when I succeed
because even when the odds are against me
    I still prevail

  3. For me there is only one goal in life that is happiness,
I believe that it’s all about the little bits when you made that one little boy feel better.
Music is my passion unlike any other, it can be great with singing which is another!
History has to live with whatever we throw at it therefore,
Everything can be unpredictable, that’s why I love it!
My roots go back long ago across the world they go; they stretch far across the world,
They go left and right and eventually goes away our sight.
If I were a picture i would be the happiest and funniest out of all of them,
I’d be the one that would give you the giggles, the one you’d love to see.
At times there was always that one voice that gave me that last bit of encouragement,
Sometimes it was my only hope, the last sliver of me that just barely made it out!

  4. I am from four-storey, yellow-brick houses
And red double-decker buses and the unique black cabs
    And large, messy, overgrown gardens
And the straight road that goes far, far away.

I am from arguing ferociously with my brother
And then suddenly playing games together
And trying to draw and failing miserably
And playing video games on electronic devices.

I am from the boring, repetitive Chinese dishes,
    And the occasional European one
And the creamy homemade birthday cakes
And the unhealthy, but delicious takeaway meals.

I am from visiting the massive country China
And trying their tasty (or disgusting) foods
And going to different countries-Spain, France…
    And seeing their famous landmarks.

I am from always be kind.

  5. I am only one seed drifting along to find the place it can bloom.
One seed that is different from every other,
I am the one that is art, putting lines on a page,
I am one that is doing a favour not asking to be paid.
As the wind pushes me back I always go further,
This time stronger and faster, with my my goal even firmer.
Animals, the creatures around us, making the wildlife I love,
I see animals everyday in every way but there is always something knew,
I see the most amazing ones at the garden Kew!
People are around us, sometimes happy, sometimes sad,
You should never leave them in gloom, help them and let them bloom.
I am me and not one person can change that.

  14. My roots spread deep,
Into the house beside the Thames,
Into the park that’s growing stems,
Into the people that called us gems

  16. Belonging

I feel belonging when I’m at home drawing
Like a squid would feel at home in the sea.
The giant squid prefers the twilight zone
If it was any brighter, then the light would hurt his eyes.

I feel at home when I am playing with my friends
Like a bird would feel at home in it’s nest.
But if I was starting a new school and no one would talk to me,
I would feel like a squid on land.

But I would feel like a squid back in the sea
If I made a friend and people would listen to me.

  17. IDENTITY POEM

I have never really thought about my identity,
I spend more time thinking about what I’m meant to be,
I’ve got a brother and sister both younger than me,
I suppose the oldest must have more responsibility,
I love comic book characters and making my own,
Drawing is my favourite thing to do when alone,
I like series of books and TV shows,
Comic book shops with rows and rows,
I get angry quite easily when things seem unfair,
My patience is like paper that’s easy to tear,
I think I’m quite kind though and have empathy,
Even if someone is really testing me,
I like thinking about things rather than answering questions,
    I often daydream during lessons,
But sometimes my way of thinking bothers me,
Sometimes the answer is all I want to see.

  18. I am a boy,

That’s why I care for them
    And they care for me

I am a lover of sports
    Swimming, running, football and more
    They make me feel
Happy and they are full of fun
