A summary of the story…
One cloudy morning, a man who lived in a dull apartment was placing his colorful flowers outside his window. Suddenly, his flower tilted back and fell to the ground, smashing into a million tiny pieces. Picturing himself falling down, the man shuddered violently and came up with an idea…
After hours of driving to his new two-floored house, the man walked inside and carried his stack of books up the stairs. Unfortunately, one of his books toppled down the stairs and landed in a messy heap on the floor. Imagining himself rolling down the stairs, the man came up with another idea…
Under the dazzling blue sky, the man was carrying his antique teapot in his new farmhouse which had no stairs. Later, his his precious antique fell and smashed into tiny bug-sized pieces. Flabbergasted, the man backed away and sank into his chair but the chair tilted back and almost hit the ground. As a result, two pictures which were hanging on the wall, fell down and cracked into pieces. Terrified, the poor man backed away from his living room (and), he tripped ad fell on his garden full of amazing flowers. ‘ This is not bad,’ muttered the old man.
One summer day, there was an old man who lived in a lifeless block of flats . One day , he brought some lovely flowers and put them on his window ledge. Suddenly, the flower pot smashed onto the rock solid ground.
The poor old man was so scared that the same thing would happen to him so he moved to a two floored house. He was taking his books upstairs when he dropped one of them. The old man was scared that the same thing might happen to him that he dashed out of the house.
This time,he moved to a farm and while he was making himself a cup of tea, his tea pot crashed into pieces. The old man thought the only way he would be safe is by spending his life sitting down on a chair. But when he sat down, the chair rocked. His pictures, which were hanging on the wall, fell down and he dashed outside. He fell down onto the grass and among the flowers he conquered his fears !
MORAL OF THE STORY
-The moral of the story is that whatever you do, you will have to overcome your fears.
-Believe in your self!
– Conquer your fears!
-Get back up again !
On the green hill,there was a grey,tall building where a skinny,old man lived.This man loved flowers and as a result,he had a lot of them.One day,he bought a new flower pot and placed it outside the window when it fell down and broke into pieces.Thinking that the same thing might happen to him, he left his apartment and moved to a two floored house.
On that same day,while he was unpacking,the man took some books upstairs when suddenly, one of the books fell down and ripped into pieces. Thinking that the same thing might happen to him, he left the house and moved to a farm, where there were lots of flowers.
In his new house, the man was making tea, until he slipped and broke his tea cup. The man was panicking and and decided to spend his life on a chair. His chair rocked, the pictures fell down and smashed into pieces. Walking backwards, he left his home but fell into the ground, surrounded by colorful flowers.
The advice I would give Mr Fishkin when the flower dropped off the window sill. Is to go down stairs and pick up the flower and put it in another pot because the flower isn’t broken , the pot is the one that is broken. Also, another piece of advice I would give Mr Fishkin is that he should have not put the flower pot the window sill in the first place.
When the book fell Mr Fishkin could of pick up the book and find a solution like he did with the flower pot. Also he could just go and pick it up because it doesn’t hurt when you fall down the stairs that much or he could carefully walk down the stairs gripping onto the banister that way it’s nearly definite that he won’t fall down the stairs.
this is the advice I would have given the man and I even named the man{mr fishkin}
