  1. he was terrified of falling because he might get hurt but once he fell he realized it wasn’t that bad and started to enjoy life

  2. I think the man is scared of heights because every time he drops something, it breaks and he imagines himself as if he were the object. He also moves to a smaller house each time he breaks something because he thinks it will be less likely for it to happen again. I think my advise to the man would be to try and overcome his fear by spending less time moving houses and more time enjoying the outdoors because it looks like he likes nature. I think the man plants the flower because there were lots of flowers in the grass, so he put it with the rest of them as the pot was completely broken. The man might have the pictures of the tree and flowers because he could have grown them and planted it. The sound definitely makes the short story more exciting because there is no speech, so it sounds better.

  3. For advice i woud say to either but a barror there so he cant fall or move house.
moving house might solve his fear. he could conquer his fear by getting a stai lift. the man might of planted the flower because he wanted to see the tree grow .He might of taken these pictures because he is trying to grow a tree . with the sound off it make it feel sad . The film has a meaning of over coming your fears. my fear< up in the air with no help if needed. all you can see is clouds .

  4. It seems to me that the film is showing how the man is afraid of falling over as everything that he owns is falling over around him. I think that to ultimately combat his fear, he must first face it, which is why i think he should fall over on purpose, (on a safe place, not next to a board of nails) and see that he has nothing to worry about, he’s made it up in his head. He decides to move away from the place that his plant pot fell over, and this probably won’t solve any kind of problem as falling over can occur in most places almost randomly. He does seem to enjoy flowers as well, which was maybe why he was so frightened when he realised his plant pot had broken. The music i felt really adds to the story, as whenever he does a dramatic movement, the music/instruments accompany it to make the intensity even higher.

    1. Hi Oscar. Thank you for highlighting the importance of the music. It can have a significant impact on how we feel about a film.

  5. I think is message is that we shouldn’t run away from our fears we should face them and it’ll make us stronger and braver.

It makes me think about my fears and that I should face them but I’ll only face them if I have to

  6. I think the film is telling us that you can’t be scared of falling from everything because it might not even happen. The ending of the film shows that even though he fell he didn’t get hurt.

    1. Thank you Scarlet. Yes the ending does seem significant. So do you think the film has a universal message?

  7. It’s good to be cautious to a point, but if you spend your life worrying about something that might not happen, you aren’t living a full life. Life itself is a big risk – yet the man in the video doesn’t realise that. And when he did fall, he discovered that he just needed to brush himself down and enjoy the beauty around him.

  8. i think that if you are afraid of something, then its okay, and he will be able to overcome those fears if he starts to understand that falling over (his fear) might not hurt him as much as he thinks it will.

  9. I think the man keep comparing himself to objects and once he did that he started to to worry about what will happen to him if he fell from somewhere then he started to over-exaggerated things because he didn’t want to be torn into pieces like objects

  10. its ok to be afraid because you will always find a way to overcome your fear and the man could overcome it by falling onto something soft
