Geography Lesson by Brian Pattern
Our teacher told us one day he would leave the school
and escape to a glisting beach.
Swimming ammungst the tropical fish
and swaying palm trees out of his reach
The house he lived in was narrow and grey
the house he wished for was luxirous and warm
Lush burry bushes growing in his paradise
with coconut shells torn.
cleared water lapping in the moat
where it was always hot and never cold
and I couldn’t understand why he never left
and shook of our schools stranglehold.
That’s really good lily
Our teacher told us one day he would leave the school
and escape to a glisting beach
swimming ammugust the tropical fish
and swaying palm trees that were out of his reach
The house he lived in was narrow and grey
the house he wished for was luxirous and warm
lush berry bushes growing in his paradise
with coconut shells torn
cleared water lapping in the moat
where it was always hot and never cold
and I couldn’t understand why he never left
and shook of our schools stranglehold
Our teacher cried one day he would abandon the school
And to locations he hade longed to be .
And float across a warm sea
The places he lived in was depressing and dark
But in his mind he could see fresh fragrant roses clambering up palaces
And green lime leaf on a lime tree.
i love poems there so intresting it wants tomake you read more MORE AND MORRRRRRRRRRE
HI Nisan,
I’m really pleased you’re enjoying the poems.
I hope you like the final 2 poems also.
I love chocolate cake
I like to write about mystical creatures like unicorns , bigfoot and fairies.
Perhaps your entry for the competition could focus on a mythical creature?
