  1. Welcome to North London, here we have luxury houses and hotels, education and cleaner streets than any place I know and we even have our own servants. You will have one, her name is Marion.

The transport in North London is the very best. You can ride on fabulous horse-drawn carriages to get to places, especially if you are full from a whole roast chicken or really tired.

Recreation is absolutely perfect as there are marvellous games like croquet or chess, the game of kings and queens. Also, we have a courtyard for your child Carlie and a horse to ride on.

To contact me, you should come to number seventeen Pudding Lane and I, P. Warden, shall be waiting for your arrival so I can give you the house.

    1. Hi Luca it me Hasan that came to your school in yr3! I like your writing and I like the start when you said the word luxurious! That’s a very nice word! This is a very persuading advert! Well done Luca!

    2. Hi Luca,

your writing is so good i love it.I love the way you said welcome to, if you said hello or hi it would of been so boring.

  2. Hello Luca,
We particularly liked the way you have used your prior knowledge of old London. e.g. You have made reference to Pudding Lane which we all learnt about in our year 2 history learning about ‘The Great Fire of London 1666’.
    Well done!:-)

  3. Discussions surrounding the painting were very interesting. There were lots of different opinions as to where it would be best to live. We look forward to seeing the painting in real life.

  4. come and live in the never ending north. Its activities are fun and thrilling. The streets are
safe and clean.Don’t miss out on the fashionable shops we provide. Every day you could go to the theatre to see superb shows. Our people are trustworthy, positive and friendly!

  5. Move to super south that has shops with all the supply’s you need.If you need food or drink go to our pubs.Or go fishing in the lake.Have fun!!!!!

The people in the south are super friendly and generous. You wouldn’t want to miss out on all of the fun activities in the super south. The streets in super south are spotless. So why don’t you come and see? The shops are great they sell all the supply’s you will need. There are also pubs.

  6. Dear readers,

Do you want a peaceful, tranquil life with a normal, standard house? A great life for you and your children to grow up? Well, then one of these houses are for you!

Even though this part of London is much less richer than the other side, You can feel free and the other side is flooded. In addition to a peaceful, neutral life, you get friendly, nice people and the weather is much better than many other parts of London and it’s built on top of the land, were as the other side is flooded and built on the floor rather than on land.

This may be a normal house on the outside, but if you look on the inside, well it’s not as shabby as you would of thought so. The furniture is brilliant and not as bad as expected, if I do say so myself. This is my opinion of a great place to live as it has a great neighbour.

It’s a great place to live but for a cheap price. This is great, as i do say so myself! I have a history of living here and it’s an amazing. It comes with a sizeable living room, a not so bad fire-place and at least 2 more rooms (bedrooms). This comforting house is the jackpot of south-London.

If you want this wonderful house to live mail a letter to this address:

    Oxford Street,London N6 2EZ, NO.14 costs £5000.1

Marvellous, phenomenal and tranquil, you should buy this cheap house. Other glorious houses like this may cost more and have better conditions, this is cheaper, even if it is badder in conditions. The queen has allowed us to give this house and sell it even for a cheap price! Can you believe that!?!

    1. I agree with Anisha. The way you put in the address made it look like an actual advert. Louie, great use of questions and openers.

  7. Live in the north

If you are looking for a house, you came to the right place… We have been selling houses for years and now we would like to sell you a house. These houses are in the north, which means you will not get cold in the winter because some people in the south can not afford roofs that protect them from rain.

This is why you should live in the north:

    The houses is more advanced
    fresh clothing
    more decorated
    delicious food
    soft cushioning
    boats for sail
    alot more shops
    cheap, wooden toys(for your kids)
    more population
and best of all pure water and a good sight of the bridge

    The view is beautiful

    1. I like this writing by Anisha and Shamsia. If I was grown-up and selling my house I would definitely buy the house they were selling. Great piece of work.

    2. I like how you have used brackets. I really enjoy seeing your reasons of why you should live in the North instead of South. There is one thing i don’t get why did you use ellipsis on the first sentence. It sort of confuses me. Other than that your piece of work is extraordinary.

  8. We made posters advertising the side of the bridge which we preferred. ‘Come to the Super South’ is by Izzy and ‘Come to the New North’ is by Summer.

  9. We created persuasive posters advertising which side of the bridge we preferred. ‘Come to the New North’ is by Summer and ‘Come to the Super South’ is by Izzy.

  10. I agree with Anisha. Louie, the way you put the address in made my sisters think you really were selling the house . Great use of questions and openers.

  11. Emre has tried to use some humour in his advert – which sentence made you laugh?

  12. Can you identify any of the persuasive openers Ayesha used? Has she persuaded you to move to Southwark?

  13. I chose the south because it was easy to tell the truth but lie like saying “Your never alone” or “Why be at home when you could be having an adventure every day!”

  14. Are you sick of commuting over old London bridge?
    LIVE IN NORTH LONDON…
