This flower was worked on for months & it inspires me to do more art and work on my art skills I also think its beautiful and dazzling I believe I’ve done a flabbergasting job with my mum, we call it the flower of gratitude because we thought of something we were grateful for each time we drew a petal.
Hi Oscar,
Your a very prolific blogger like me. Well done for using this art in the right section. Also that is a very nice piece of art so well done oscar!
STAR POST
Sam that’s fantastic and you should be proud! I really like the way you’ve spent a long time on it …that’s the way to improve.
Thank you for sharing…
WOW Sam that must of took a long time and we loved the name that you called it is a very cool.
I really liked the choice of the colours because I can see you have put loads of effort into it and its bright and colourfull .
WOW That is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What inspired you to do this amazing flower? Did you look at an artists paintings? Or did you make it up your self?
This is a painting which I did using oil paints, a palatte knife and a sheet of metal. I then placed a sheet of paper over the top and pressed down to create this print! I did this many years ago when I was at university studying for my art degree. The reason why I have included it here is because it is an example of a bridge with buildings on it – rather like ‘old London Bridge’ by Claude de Jongh (week 2). This bridge can be found in Bath. it’s called Pultney Bridge – why not google it and see a real example of bridge living?!
That is amazing Lyn its really detailed we wish we can do that some day.

Sam, that is amazing and I really like the way you and your mum thought of something that you were grateful for.
My piece of art is right here!
A very interesting picture Naz. Maybe you could try using a bit of colour and style in the picture. You could add a background so you know what this whole thing is about. I can tell by the look she is very happy. Next time you do another picture again brighten it up so it looks realistic.
Is that a manga character
Hi Naz Sufi you are really good at drawing! I like the way you’ve done the shading.
Nas sufi I like how you drew that picture it reminds me of comics. I especially like the way you drew the eyes.
I adopted a panda from the world wildlife fund and I thought it would be a good idea to draw a panda seeing as that is what I adopted and it was world environment day on Friday. I coloured in the tree on a wooden table to get the wood effect showing through.
Seeing as I love dragons I thought it would be a very good idea to draw a picture of one. I drew this at school.
This a picture that my dad did in Dorset in half term. It is a watercolour painting. He also drew on stones.
And here is some of the stones my dad drew on- they are pebble monsters.
