Thank you for making such a great start to the course.

This week we’d like to see art from different countries and cultures.

Remember to add the country or continent where the art comes from as well as name of artist,  art and why you like it.

Let’s see how many countries we can find art for.

    This extraordinary painting is by Alena klementeva she is from Russia . I like the way she focuses on the detail of the angels wings and hair . I also like the way Alena makes the light pop out at you . I think Alena should use more dark colours because the painting is mostly made up out of light colours .

  2. I like it because he put a lot of imagination into it. I love the colours because they make me smile.

  3. It shows the emotion that he felt and I like it because of the swirly lines throughout the painting. Munch the artist from Norway and in the background you can see the Oslo cathedral.It makes ME want to scream in the flurosent light.

  4. we want to show you a painting that really stands out. This painting comes from Bangladesh and it is AWSOME!!! I just want to say that this painting is beautiful.

  5. My favourite art is from Belgium and the artist is called Yuriy shevchuk I like because it looks almost real.

  7. I like this paining because it is a painting of flowers and I love flowers. I think the artist took a lot of time on this making it look amazing.

  8. I like this painting because it is about a historical woman from Ghana. The painting is old-fashioned with some bright colours. This woman is called Yaa Asantwa who was the first woman to go to war.

  9. WOW! I like this picture because it looks attractive. The backround is amazing! It reminds me of an animal and it reminds me of a giraffe by looking at the scene!

  12. Hi Jemima, I got interested by Megan Duncanscn work and looked up some more. I found this one very cheerful and magical. It is called Blue Moon Rising. Hope you like it as much as I do.
