i enjoy people writing and showing there art and looking and writing comments. writing through art helped me by letting me express my favorite art . i think what can be improved is that everyones allowed to like and unlike arts
I enjoyed doing righting though art because it is very creative.I thing it gets my brain started.I am very grateful .I have learnt a lot and I am proud of my work now thank you.

i found the paintings quite interesting and seeing them in real life a great experience.
I really liked writing through art because it was realy interesting lerning about the art. It heped me under stand what the paintings were about. If it could be better I would say more drawing but apart from that it was GREAT!And an all round briliant experience
I liked learning about the Rembrandt because he had lots of interesting facts. Like he had to give his studio away to his son, he died in his 50 ‘s and he was one of the most famous artists in the world for doing PERFECT circles. Of cores I liked it because I never new a lot of artists and a lot about there lives, until I learnt about writing throw art. I think it could of been a little bit longer.
I like writing through art because it helps me learn more about art/artists it could be better if we had more time to look at the paintings and models.
I really liked the writing through art project because the paintings nearly persuaded me to be my favorite painting but my favorite painting is still the Vincent Van gogh flower painting. It help me by knowing more paintings because I didn’t know many paintings.

i did enjoy the writing through art project, because it was really fun making the winter scene for are piece. i learnt a lot of new artists and nothing needs to be improved!
i liked the writing through art project because it was interesting to learn about art/artists that i’d never even heard of. it could’ve been better doing it for longer .it helped me know about more artists and know about more art.
I liked writing though art because it was interesting to see all the paintings and look at them in more detail. it inspired me because usually i just look at paintings and then walk away but in writing through art it really makes me interested about why they drew the paintings and if it was finished or not. It has helped me because it now i now to look at paintings with more detail.
I liked writing through art because it taught me a different way of looking at art. My favourite painting is the one of John Joseph Merlin. I liked learning about his inventions my favourite is the skeleton clock because I like how you can see how it works it helped me use my imagination a more so I can create new things
I loved writing through art because I absolutely love art so it was amazing to see all the incredible art pieces! My favorite bit was making our own art work to display around kenwood house I think you should defintly do that next year i enjoyed all of it thank you so much it was great fun!
I really liked the trip to Kenwood house it was nice to look at the pictures for real after looking at them at school. I liked the Frozen Canal picture because I enjoyed spotting things I hadn’t spotted before and imagining what it be like to be the people. I also enjoyed the inventions that John Joseph Merlin made and listening to how he crashed into a mirror!

i really enjoyed learning about paintings i knew nothing about and then seeing the real thing was on another level. I found it fascinating and i love that the schools and classes really got involved. The trip to Ken-wood house was really great too, not just because we had a pack lunch! But because I had never been to Ken-wood house and it was amazingly interesting. Now answering your questions: so as you can probably tell yes i did enjoy it because I loved writing and , doing art. Writing through art improved my knowledge of the 5 paintings. It would have been much more fun personally for me if we used more paints.

Hi I loved righting thought art very much and extremely enjoyed it. maybe the paintings that the schools made could stay up longer for the public to see.it was realy cool to see the real paintings that the real painters panted
I really liked the writing through art project because I had never done anything like it before. It helped me learn more about how to work as a team when we made the painting at the end of writing through art.

I don’t think the project needs anything else.
I loved the project because I absolutely love art and it is pretty much all about art. It helped me because I learnt more and more about art but most of all more and more about paintings and famous artists. it could have been better if we did more drawing because quite a bit of it was just writing but it doesn’t really matter because it was really fun anyway.
I loved all of it. The reason this project was amazing was because i got a change on things and got to try new things out. It helped me to know that not every piece of art i do will be perfect, and that it is really nice to work as a team. I think the way it could be better is if the rooms in Kenwood house could have longer descriptions on the paintings and artifacts.

I really liked the Kenwood House project and it has helped our literacy by giving us knowledge about different paintings. It has helped us because now we know different types if artists and paintings. My favourite painting was the the ‘Hawking’ painting by Landseer. The trip to Kenwood House was amazing because there were lots of paintings and at the end we got to play games.

I really liked the ‘Writing through Art’ project because it was so interesting learning and about inventors and artists. I also liked the self portrait by Rembrandt and I wondered why Rembrandt drew two perfect circles. Our class enjoyed visiting Kenwood House and we saw all of the paintings. My favourite painting was Rembrandt’s ones because his paintings stand out and it is really hard to draw perfect circles.
Dear michael,
I really like this kenwood house project because we got to study different paintings and learn a lot about them. I also love this website because we get to look at other peoples paintings and admire all their hard work possibly even use some of there words, adjectives or maybe their determiners. The best thing about this kenwood house project is the paintings. My favourite paintings was miranda (from the Tempest), Rembrant and the Cannal in winter as their were the most interesting. Thank you michael for making this possible
I enjoyed writing through art very much because it gave us an opportunity to look at prices of art that we might not of looked at otherwise. It was great fun learning about it lots of different pieces of art and it really brought out the writing side of some of us so i think it was a great experience and we could be as creative as we wanted. i really enjoyed it

Thank you for arranging our extremely fun and enjoyable trip. Ricky and I loved it!!!! It really helped us with our learning and it definitely made us a lot more interested in paintings and artists. The trip to Kenwood House could’ve been better though, if there were more models and if we had longer to look at the paintings.

I enjoyed writing through because I got to understand how artist feel when they are painting and I learned how Rembrant was feeling and I felt like I was in his postion.
It helped me coming to kenwood house because I could see much better and because you helped me with things I did not understand .
Yes we did enjoy it, because it was really fun to learn about these incredible, old paintings. It helped us by learning new artists. Even better if you had sent us famous paintings!!!

We really enjoyed getting to see the paintings for real after, we had studied them. It was a great experience to visit the historic Kenwood House, we particularly enjoyed seeing the original skeleton clock.
It was interesting to learn about different art works we did not previously know about. It was also a new experience, for many of us, to see these original artworks. The Rembrandt was a popular piece as we learned a lot about the artist themselves.
