i think Mr Tollemache painted his wife as Miranda as they had similar personalities and would be a good match.

Before I saw the picture I thought that the picture was a little girl was wondering in her
secret garden. With her little friend and a robin in the background. and when we watched the full story of the Tempest we started to under stand the picture.
Before I saw the painting I thought it was a woman feeding some animals.
When I saw the real painting I was shocked and surprised it was actually a woman called Mrs Tollermatche and a man spying on her.
So we named it ‘The spying man’
the panting isn’t really called that but I could see why you called it that.
Before I saw the three main characters in the painting I thought they were a young woman in a floaty dress or someone holding a basket. The title I thought of was the nosy parker or the bride in the forest. I thought the connection was that they had met in a secret garden.
The first time I saw Prospero I thought it was a bird.
When I saw Caliban I thought he was a Badger.
We called it The woodpecker that didn’t dare.
We found that the person in that painting was
Mrs Tollemache
And we thought the man was trying to spy on her.
Kaydon I In the panting I see a boat that has sunken also I wonder why the man the was peeking
Jaime In the picture I can see a wizard peeking through the tree staring staring at the girl
it looks like she is in love
Josiah In the bottom there is a little elf there is a forecast as well
We called it “The mysterious man” We thought the blue blob is a bird, we thought the red blob is a woman and we thought the yellow blob is a squirrel. The women is the owner of the bird and squirrel, I think the woman is feeding the squirrel and the bird and she is holding seeds, I think they are playing a game. Now we know the story of the Tempest
We were surprised that what we thought was a child hiding or a bird in a tree turned out to be a man spying on a lady. We also thought the thing next to the lady was a fish or a person but it turned out to be a small frog-like creature. We were right at a lady being in the picture. We thought they were all family.
We called this “The Sneaky Secret Garden”
We thought this setting was in a field or in the country side.we predicted that the man looking through the trees was a cuddly furry owl or a squirrel. We were shocked and surprised to learn that Caliban was a son of a witch and was half sea monster and half human. we called it *The snooper*.Now we know the whole story of The Tempest we understand the painting and the story more.
Ali: liked the painting because it reminds me of the time when I went to the cinema with my sister to watch batman and batman spied on someone and in the painting The man in the trees was spying on the girl. Dylan: Before I knew what this painting was, I thought the man was going to follow her to wherever she was going, and possibly kill her.
Before we knew what the painting was we thought it was a woman going to her wedding. She was walking in the woods with her pets. We thought the yellow patch was a cat and the blue patch was a woodpecker or a squirrel. She was going to drop them off at her Mums house in the woods.
We thought she was 28 years old with blonde hair and a red dress. She was carrying a basket of cakes and flowers.

We liked The Tempest story because its awesome
We were surprised that the person in the tree was spying on the lady who looked like she was innocently minding her buisness

So that’s why we named it ‘The spying man’
Before I knew what the painting I thought that the man was going to kill the
woman. The monkey man was saving her. He looked terrified, scared and frightened .
My title was Angel doom
I predict that the god and the demon are trying to get her to safety and get her away from the evil monkey… I fort that the man had a sword , it look so scary.
When i first saw this piece of art i thought it was an snowy angle and a wizard hiding in a tree with a monkey coming out of the ground. But when i got told what it actually thought oh its a girl called Miranda and Miranda’s father hiding in the tree and a monkey called calliban
Before I knew the picture i thought that the man behind the trees was trying to steal the girl because that girl is a stacheu and it looks like that the girl is trying to hug the little boy hiding.

before i knew what the painting was about I thought it was about a man who was watching birds and a brown leaf falls down and the leaf transforms into a witch then more leafs fall down and turn into a creepy man/hippopotamus the man is shock because what he saw .
I think in this picture the monkey man and the women tried to escape from the man.The man turned the man into a monkey.Then, he got the woman, and threw her into a giant bowl of papier mache and it froze her.
Also i thought it was called the angel and the devil.
I think that the man in the bush is the devil and she is the angel and he is a man.The devil is dying because the angel beat him up.:D

or

Before I knew what the painting was about I thought that the woman was important and that the small man was helping build something , that the woman mite be moving into. While the man behind the tree was spying on them . And he might want to hurt her for some reason ?
I named it Anger and angel .

How did you know the woman was important?
From the way she was dressed it looked like she had a lot of money .
Before I saw this picture I thought the guy next to the tree has magic wand. Also he froze the girl with the white shirt. The man next to the tree also turned the guy next to the women into man monkey.I also thought the title of this picture was called the cloudy women.
Before I knew what the painting is about I thought in this picture the woman is frozen by the magical wand that the wizard has in his hand. Trying to stop the beautiful princess from getting the shiny diamonds, with her fellow friends. The wizard try’s to steal the crown from the princess.
Also I imagined that the title could be “Madness is here”
Great title. There is a lot of madness in the play.
Before I knew what the picture was about I thought that there was a bad man that enchanted a little boy. And the white pale women is trying to help the boy escape with her. But the bad man is trying to chase after them and turn them into statues.
Also I thought the title was named The Christmas Angel And The Heller Devil.
Before I knew what the picture was I thought the man in the tree froze the girl and turned the guy with the logs into a monkey man! Because he is bad.
I thought the picture was called Your Worst Nightmare.
Before I knew what the picture was about I thought that the weird man was a normal
person. Then the man behind the tree gave him a drink that made him into a
monkey. And the man is trying to do it to the lady.
I thought the picture was called the white angel and the harmful devil.
