I like the old London bridge because it look more old fashioned then I thought it will be and also it has house on it
The children really enjoyed looking at De Jongh’s picture of old London Bridge. They were particularly fascinated by the fact that heads were left on spikes on the bridge! It was interesting to compare the architecture on both sides of the bridge and discuss who would have lived there.
We imagined what it would have been like walking over the bridge on our way to the Globe Theatre to see a performance of one of Shakespeare’s plays.
