Here is the second film called: “Hors Piste”. Hors Piste is a skiing term. It means skiing off the main route.

Extension/writing task:
Write from the perspective of the injuired person. You can either:
a) write about the events leading up to his accident before the rescue team arrives. f
Why is there? How did he get to the top of the mountain? What happened to him
or
b) Write from the perspective of the injuired man describing his experiences.
“I felt so alone and cold and was preparing for the worse when I heard the blur of a helicopter in the distance and hope sprang into my heart once more.”.
1.I think the genre of this film is adventure because they went on a snowy mountain to save an injured man that was skiing and i also think the genre is comedy since they were ice skating with the injured man.
2.The most funniest scene was when one of the rescuers offered water to the injured man when his mouth was covered by the suit they put him in to keep him safe.
3.I would add a scene in the top of the mountain and the rescuers just making the injured man fly off.
4.I think what happened at the end of the film was that their tiny home on the mountain went flying because one of the rescuers were drunk from drinking alcohol and when he went on the bunk bed he was so dizzy he was on the tip which made his weight make the bed fall and it crushed the bottom bit of the house sled down the mountain

Comedy because they was playing with the injured man eg he was eing used as a bridge.

What makes the film funny is that they were using him like a toy and he kept shivering while they didnt let him in the house.

Very interesting Brody. There’s no dialogue (speech) in the film. Why do you think the director decided to not include dialogue?

2.The scene that made me laugh most was when the crashed skier was sliding down the hill on the stretcher.
3.A scene that I would add is when the rescuers and the skier would go to a cabin and then in the night a bunch of raccoons would attack and the skier would scream.
4.I think at the end of the film,the 3 main characters would return back to base and when they take the skier out of the stretcher, the skier would run for his life after all the shenanigans that happened for the past 5 minutes.

1. Adventure and comedy because in the animation they had to get the injured ski man to the hospital but their helicopter fell off the mountain so the had to go on feet down the mountain

i think there going to come to to one steep cliff and there trying to climb down it .

When they used the man for a bridge but it was kind of sad for the man cause he was injured and he was gonna be in more pain.

I will add a scene at the end the scene I would add at the end is that those men were vey luck because they saw some mountain climber heading there way and those people saw them and called more rescuers to come and help them.

I think they had an idea that they were going to use the man as a sleigh and that they will sleigh down the mountain.

that other rescuer came and saw them not looking after him and told them to go to the helicopter and the helicopter was broken again they found a shelter but the small and the big man sleep outside that is their punishment

I think that there should be a scene at the end where there is a massive asteroid that blows up every thing behind them. Then they would grow wings and fly away.

I believe that they improvise because they use many ways to get down and this is also as I believe it is a comedy / Action movie

1. I think this is a comedy and an adventure because sometimes they would use the man that got hurt to cross over the gap but they were also maybe on Mount Everest so thats where the adventure part came in.

I think that the genre is comedy because the scene when the man jumps off the mountain the other guy didn’t hold the rope.
I would add a new scene where at the end the man that is ”hurt” is not really hurt but the people that saved him still act like their heroes.
I think at the end they tried to climb the mountain again.

When the rescue people came that was the start and the scene that I found the funniest is when he jumped of the cliff.

I think it is comedy because funny things keep happening- like when the house was flying over the moon. I found the funniest scene when the house was speeding into the earth like a rocket ship. If i could add a scene I would add, that they all go in different directions when they come down the mountain and make huge craters. I think at the end of the film they kept walking and created an avalanche.

I think its comedy, because the man keeps falling when he just has an accident.
I found the most funny part when they rapped him like a sausage and used him as a bridge. I would add when he falls down he fly’s and the two other man are speechless so they try but they fall down. I think they found him and they were going to start there journey again.

2. The thing that makes this film funny is how the men in the helicopter end up flying into space and how they are treating the hurt man. The scene I found funniest is when they end up flying into space.

1) I think this film was comedy and adventure, because it was about 2 men trying to save someone, even though it was hopeless.
2) I think it’s funny because they act like nothing is going on, and the man they were “saving” was very injured, and they were injuring him even more!

I think that the film is an adventure because it is set in the mountains. I think the film is funny because the men used the other person as a bridge to get across one mountain to the other and they also left the man outside in the snow. I would add that because they didn’t get the helicopter back they had to get a unicorn to get back home. I think that next they will go on another adventure in another place but this time they will get to go to another place in the Victorian times.
What an exciting idea for a sequel. I wonder how the same characters would fare in another era?
