I think that john joseph merlin was a pretty good inventor and the painting is alright he was born in 1781
today we looked at this painting and we like it because it looks very posh and modern and it doesn’t even look like a painting because its look so real and cool
The invention I wrote about was roller skates because I love roller skating . I like the painting because he looks like he is keeping a secret and that makes me more interested in him.
The invention I did was roller skates.You need the roller skates because its good for health.You will look cool if you ride the roller skates.You will win the competition.The red wheels are boost so you can go fast as you can.
in our class we made an advert of the things merlin invented and we picked the
silver swan because it looks cool.
The invention I wrote about is the two robots.I like them because he made two.Also,he invented rollerskates and famously crashed to a wall while using them.

The invention I wrote about was “Roller Skates”. You have to buy them. They are like no other because they have “Voice Recognition” to activate the speed boost! They are water, fire, lightning and wind resistant! The special revolutionary wheels have extra grip so that you don’t fall. I hope that you buy them!

The invention I wrote about was the robot. I changed the robot into one that cleans and it cooks and it also a source of transportation. I wrote about the robot because it reminded me of me and my family on the beach near the sea.

This painting is very realistic and unique as it’s detailed from every single part. As he is an inventor he had created something that are called roller skates. We learnt that he had crashed into a very expensive mirror in a royal party . We also discovered that the reason merlin crashed was because he didn’t have any brakes. But we don’t understand why he has his hand in his jacket?
Good question KJ and Shuaib. What might he be holding inside his jacket? It’s something a gentleman was allowed to carry then but is a crime now.
I like this painting because he is sitting on the chair with a smart pose. In our class we are learning about him. We’ve been trying to find out why he has his left hand in his pocket. We have been coming up with some ideas to try to find out why his hand is in his jacket but we don’t know the definite answer.
At our school, we have been looking at a story were John Joseph Merlin had skates and
crashed into mirror at a Royal party where King George jumped out the way and Merlin got to stay and entertain the guests. He was an inventor who invented automatons and became very famous. His invention have contributed to todays technology.

John Joseph merlin is a famous inventor that made roller skates and other inventions
once he went to a royal party with his roller skates and crashed into a mirror but he was lucky enough to stay at the party and no one got hurt.

We looked at this art and thought on what we liked and disliked. We liked how it looked very realistic and how it is a very modern art. We disliked how his hair looked because his hair was curled right beside his face.
We have been learning about John Joseph Merlin and we call him Merlin for short we guessed why he has his arm in his jacket here are one of our guess, “He is probably keeping his hand in his jacket because maybe his hand has something wrong with it or it might of been a fancy pose at the time” we have also been writing a news paper report about him. We heard that he came zooming into a Royal Reception and almost hit the most important person in the Party King George.

I think that this painting is unique and very interesting as it has no background and the story behind John Joseph Merlin is extremely hilarious and I didn’t expect such a funny story! Also, my class had no with no answer as we were left in mystery and wonder as it was clear no-one knew why Merlin’s hand was in his coat? When I first saw this painting I thought he was Mozart because of his odd, abnormal looking hair and I would have never thought of such a back story for such a rich looking man. I also spotted that he was sitting in a gold, pearl incrusted chair and I think he might be very rich because of his clothing, his hair and the chair which he sitting on. I predict that he may be born from a very rich family.
