  1. We think this painting is a beautiful piece of art. Its got lots of different small details. Also, the painting is very interesting to gaze at, because it looks like someone has traced a photo. The person who painted this was called Claude De Jongh.

  2. We see a bridge that is arched and as you look deeper into it you can see more details such as the boat that’s carrying a funeral house and a castle in then distance. I like this painting because you never see everything with your first look. I like the panting because the houses look really detailed.

  3. We see a gigantic long bridge. Also, a reflection resting on the clear clean water. We also see lots of dark grey clouds flouting on the calm sky. The boats floats on the clear water.

  4. We really like the picture that Claude De Jongh painted. We learnt that if you did a crime in those days you would get executed and your head would be put on a spike on top of a houses on the Old London Bridge. We also wrote a description about a rich person crossing the bridge to get to the Globe Theatre. We discussed that there was a side where the poor people lived(right side) and there was side where the rich people lived(left side). The picture was so realistic! We really enjoyed sketching the art piece.

  5. Looking at this painting of Merlin, we learnt that he was an inventor. Some of the things he invented was : a set of cards for the blind ,two robots, weighing scales and a mechanical chariot . We could tell the painting was done a long time ago because of his hair and clothing. We liked this picture because he was an interesting person and we loved making up our own inventions too.

  6. We like the details of the picture because it looks really nice and cool. We dislike the man’s head because it looks like it’ll fall off and the colours don’t fit very well together.
