      So much depends
      upon

    Summertime
    So much depends
    upon
    the red blazing
    sun
    glazing with sparkles
    flying
    beside the glistening
    beach.

big table wich grows a yellow flower

  40. Here is a story about a boy and his skateboard:

    The story of ambitious Johnny

    Johnny was an ambitious lad,
He took up skateboarding as a fad.
He thought he was an amazing champ,
And charged down quickly on the ramp.
“He shouted, “Hey look, I’m in the air!”
    But little Johnny didn’t care.
As he sped one wheel feel off,
And he smashed into a coffee shop.

The next day, as he zoomed real fast,
One arm resting in a cast.
He did one quite amazing flip,
And narrowly missed a vicious slip.
He shouted, “Hey look, I’m in the air!”
    But little Johnny didn’t care.
He tried to do a loop-the-loop,
But landed in a bowl of soup.

After that, he entered a race,
With terrible burns on his face.
He jumped up high, really high,
Nearly touching the top of the sky.
He shouted, “Hey look, I’m in the air!”
    But little Johnny didn’t care…

…The whole class watched as Johnny tripped,
And sadly bit his ambitious lip.
Blood poured out, and out and out,
And the whole class heard him shout:
“Please, I want to win this comp,”
And rode into a smelly swamp.
He was never seen riding again,
As he smelt of mud till he was ten.

    Johnny was an ambitious lad,
He took up cycling as a fad.

  41. MY MOTHER SAW A DANCING BEAR

But what they saw was tired , sad bear eyes

    In those wild eyes

The owner looks at the bear and still hardly cry’s

  42. They paid a penny for the dance
But what they saw was the last
    With bruins aching legs
    Tears falling from the past

  43. My mother saw a dancing bear

They paid a penny for the dance
But what they saw was a dancing bear
that twirled and curled and riggled and jiggled
    until they didn’t care!

  44. My Mother Saw A Dancing Bear

They paid a penny for the dance
But what they saw was a aching eye
The Keeper said the bear was happy
But what he said was nothing but a lie

  45. Flanders Field
The poem Flanders Field makes me feel like I want to cry, if it was longer I would be in tears. This poem makes me feel depressed especially were it says ‘We are dead, short days ago.‘ This is the most emotional poem/story I had ever heard. I makes me feel so upset to know that these people died to save our lives!

    Emily /Krystian.

  46. In Flanders Fields
This poem is very emotional and depressing,
due to the fact that large amounts of innocent
people died. If this war didn’t occur poppy’s
wouldn’t have been such a ‘well known’ flower.
How would you feel if all of your loved ones
    died?

  47. This poem makes a sad effect on the reader because john has taken a scenario that has happened and made it into a poem. This poem rhymes which gives it a pattern. John , who fought in world war 2 ,wrote this poem and this poem created remembrance day

  48. In Flanders Fields
    Oh, heroes rest in peace
    where we can see poppies
    grow in Flanders Fields
    we shall remember the blood
    of those who sleep
    should we thank the
    heroes for the freedom
    where they sleep in
    Flanders Fields?

  49. On the battle field

On the battle field there they fought
    Dying,
    Screaming “Help us god
    We did no bad
    We did no wrong
All we want is peace, So please help us god”
You fought the Germans for world peace
But all there was was world war
You died for us for freedom and we respect that
So we shall repay the favour.
    On Flanders Fields.

  50. In Flanders Fields
    They rest in peace,under
    The living world, represented
    By the poppies that wait.
They look up or they look down
    At who they saved from
    The destruction of others.

We now look at them in the rain
But no life now has ever came back.
We all remember them with respect,
But messages haven’t taught us all
so we must give what they need.

  51. we know you gave up your life for us you threw your torch great up high.
We have caught your torch and kept a message just for you.
We will never forget you thank you for giving up your life for us.
If it wasnt for you we wouldn’t be here in flanders fields.

  52. The essence of fear

    In the muddy trenches people
    stare hopelessly at there friends
and think when will I die
amongst the poppy’s on Flanders field.

  53. Here is our reply to John McCrae:

Don’t worry we haven’t forgotten you
    You are still remembered
As if you are still alive,
and we wear our poppies with pride,
    so don’t you cry.

    Don’t worry.
    the place has changed
we take a minute of silence
    for some remembrance,
    all because of you.

    Don’t worry
    we’ve caught your torch
    we won’t stop the quarrel
    until they loose…

  54. we remember who died in
    the war we will
    remember the people
    who died in the war
    by the poppies
    that grow in
    Flanders fields

  55. Flanders fields

We can hear the bombs falling down
    from the sky .
The red poppies grew in Flanders fields
they grow so you can remember us. We thought for you for your freedom

  56. Yes we heard you call we have caught the touch
Don’t worry we won’t forget you
    We will remember you
We will look after the touch like you would expect

  57. Flanders Fields

In Flanders Fields the war began
    Soldiers fight with guns blaze
    Shooting enemies and others.
    Death and killing.
    The poppies grow.

    1. That is an amazing poem Tyler I loved the way you were so sensitive about saying thank you it was heart-warming

  58. Poppies in Flanders Fields
    As the poppies grow
    the larks singing
    shall not be heard
with the ferocious war under .

  59. Guns problems makes lead to war.
All the poppies make remembrance of them all.
They all had short life to live.
But all soldiers did not live.
We remember who we tragically lost.
They lost their lives which is a cost.

  60. The Funny Clown
    danced
    up and down
    all
    the time he
    is funny
    a-ha
    blow your horn
    now
    altogether everyone laugh
    hay

  61. We will , I swear

We will we will keep the faith
We will we will take the torch
We will we will hold it high
We will we will I swear.

You will you will sleep tonight
even if poppies do not grow
    in flanders fields
please do stop your quarrel with the foe
because the poppies will not grow

    We will keep the faith
    We will take the torch
    We will hold it high
    We will I swear

  62. The bells of rememberance
As we celebrate the now gone dead
We think about them in silence in our head
As they all lye in a line
We all knew they could have been fine
As they fought for our country
    They fought for themselves
As we hear the churches ringing their bells
Then we remember the now gone dead
As we think about them in our head

  63. I think that the poem Mother to Son is very emotional because the mother is saying that you wont always get what you want in life and life is kind of hard at certain times.

  64. My!
those who rest in Flanders Fields
    rest peacefully and anew
    the message has gone far
    and we carry your dreams
    LOVE,SORROW,FEAR
Compassion and Strength is what we have heard

  65. we see the poppies,
    as they grow,
    do you really think,
    they know,
    how brave they were,
    in World War One,
    saving the world,
    for everyone,
    we miss them dearly,
    now we’ve got,
    victory,

  66. In Flanders Fields where the poppies grow our heart sinks and the green grass still grows
In Flanders Fields where proud men lie who once were happy and now have gone
In Flanders Fields the poppies grow the wind sings and dead lie proud for sacrifices for who they would love to live

  67. Life ain’t no long straight road,
    Running towards life’s lonely end,
    Bumping up and curving down,
Where darkness is to be found,
It don’t lead to where happiness is loud,
It just stays bumping, going round and round,
Even if the bumps are square,
It just don’t matter, you’re nearly there,
I’ve kept going to the end,
    Even when the bumps descend,
So son carry on this long straight road,
    Right until the very end.

  68. Life ain’t been like glass door
    It been shut
    It still has creaks
    It’s been fogged
    But honey ,i’ses still opening
Don’t you stop cause the knob kinda hard
Life ain’t been no glass door
    Its been turned
    HIT
    Broken
    And turned
Life ain’t been no glass door

  69. Life is like a book
You never know what’s in the next chapter
Whether it’s the beginning or the end
    You don’t have to pretend
It’s not all going to come crashing down
    But don’t worry
    You’re not in a hurry

  70. Diwali

Decorating the streets with colour and light.
In streets of India we prey for more laughter, joy and happiness.
Windows filled with beautiful detailed designs.
Awaiting for midnight to watch the coloured fireworks pop in the dark sky.
Lanterns fill the glimmering sky while lamps light up the houses.
    I love Diwali!

  71. The World.
    By Arkan Aqiil

I feel lost in such a large world.
What would I do if I stood alone?
I had once thought it would soon end.
I start to isolate myself from everyone around.
I feel as I am getting sick.
It’s not just you who plays.
    I know it’s just a trick.
    Many of which still stays.
There’s a hole where my heart should be.
I know I am slowly to fade away.
Even with my eyes, I still can’t see.
I know that now, I cannot stay.
    I must move.
    I have to run.
    I cannot stop.
    This is good-bye

  72. Life is a circus
    Trapeze reminds you of how
    Much skill you have
    You fly in the air
    the experience of birds
    and the spotlight shines
and you fill with famous emotions
    and feelings and
    fly.

  73. Inspired by L Hughes

    Well ladies and gentlemen
Believe me, life is like a roller-coaster
It’s full of ups and downs
    And happiness and sadness
    Turning dark tunnels and corners
Not knowing what’s going to happen
And when you’re out, you can’t be happier
And when it’s finished I’m afraid you’re dead
But I’m telling you don’t let anything that life throws at you
    Distract you kids

    You’re strong
    You can’t be beaten
Embrace your precious life because it doesn’t last long my friends.

  74. Paradise

The crystal blue waves crashing softly,
    A gentle breeze awakening me,
    The angelic sun hypnotises me,
    And I cannot go.

Palm trees sway with the wind,
    Taking me to Paradise,
I am so happy I grinned
    With a slice of delight.

    Clouds up in the sky,
    Fish jumping so elegantly,
    But I wonder why
This emerald army is so high.

  75. Paradise

    The world brightening around me,
Rainbows glowing in the sensational sapphire blue sky,
A tropical spell has tamed me,
I feel as free as the birds in the sky.

The gentle breeze dashes through the wild jungle
The beautiful palm trees dancing elegantly
The mouth-watering coconuts planted deep within the island
    The snakes slithering senselessly.

    The colourful parrots gliding ecstatically
The fish swimming into the unknown
    The rivers racing freely
The tigers sprinting with their strong bones.

  76. Spellbinding

The scorching sun is circling around me,
The warm breeze is gently blowing,
But the tropical spell has bound me,
And I defiantly want to know where I’m going.

    The coconut trees are bending,
Their boughs are filled with them,
    The coconuts are quickly descending,
And I am never leaving them.

    Clouds beyond clouds above me,
    Sand beyond sand below,
But nothing can ever move me
    And I will not GO.

As I am surfing across the crystal waves
I dive into the sapphire sea below,
As well as that I find caves,
    I’ll never, ever go.

  77. Spellbound
    Inspired by Emily Bronte

The turquoise sea is swishing round me,
The warm wind is gently blowing,
An exotic spell has bound me,
And I desperately don’t want to leave.

    The lovely, golden, soft sand
    Shimmering in the sunlight,
    Emerald green trees swaying gently,
And I desperately don’t want leave.

    Sweet mangos juicy and ripe,
Tasty fish for me to barbecue,
Creamy white coconut milk to drink
And I desperately don’t want to leave.

Tropical fish for me to swim with,
Giant turtles to give me a ride,
Colourful parrots to be my friend
And I desperately don’t want to leave.
