  3. This is the rest of my second page so I don’t have much to type right now. The top of this page of my work is the second picture I posted.

  4. Sorry I forgot to post my work on my other comment so I just have to do it again And I added a salad emoji to my name. Maria Deysi lets me call her Mario Deysi Sorry don’t call her that because she doesn’t like it at all.

  5. This painting looks very old there is two circles in the painting .To me it looks like Rembrandt is holding a paint pilot in his hand and a paint brush.

  6. In Jade class we have been learning about Rembrandt This pice of writing is about him

  7. I like how Rembrandt painted his picture and I predict that the circle was to show the world how good he was.

  8. This is my second page of work Well, part of it anyway. I still have one and a quarter (I think) left to post By the way I call Maria Deysi Mario Deysi because she let me And yes I added a salad emoji in my name

  9. In our class we wrote a diary as Rembrandt, we siad how sad we felt when his wife died. In my story he had an Asian Self cat called Timmy.

  10. When I first saw him I thought he was Scrooge! In our class we wrote a diary as Rembrandt, we siad how sad we felt when his wife died. In my story he had an Asian Self cat called Timmy.

  11. This was my favourite picture and he included two circles one circle represents his wife and the other one for heven

    1. When I googled it it said the circles represented how good at art he was. Apparently only a professional artist can draw two perfect circles.

  12. I don’t know about this painting I don’t really get the idea of this painting I mean I know that his wife died but I don’t know I’m sorry his wife died ❤️

  13. My work is a piece of writing about Rembrandt. We had to get into Rembrandt shoes and do a diary entry. I really hope you like

  14. I am late to all of these paintings because I didn’t know how to get on here but now I do. I feel bad for Rembrandt because he is lonely and his wife passed away so he is not the same without her I also did three pages of work for this and I am proud of it And in my work I put a pet called (A chicken called Cow)

  15. I am late to all of these paintings because I didn’t know how to get on here but now I do. I feel bad for Rembrandt because he is lonely and his wife passed away so he is not the same without her I also did three pages of work for this and I am proud of it

  16. I don’t really like this picture because I don’t really think Rembrant is a good painter.

  17. I REALLY LOVE THIS PAINTING !!!

I love it because when he was younger he looks like a Charming man, and when he is an old man he looks like a lady, but I don’t mean it in a rude way I’m just saying !!!

  18. I feel so sorry for Rembrandt that his wife passed away that’s just very sad infact I feel sorry for both of them because there both died

  19. I don’t know who this guy is but he looks like a baker to me or he works I a factory I don’t know not even my class knows . Maybe his a judge in court with he’s grey hair and black suit that’s what judges usually were in court well I’ve never been to court before I don’t even know what you do there? I’ve seen videos of it but I just don’t know what you do

  20. it looks very good because to know it’s his painting the nose represents a dark side and a light side!

    1. I don’t feel bad for Rembrant because he is a painter and he paints self portrait pictures and 3D pictures.

  21. I like how Rembrant uses his artistic imagination by seperating the lightness and the darkness by the nose. I also like it how he drew pictures ( portraits ) of poor people because most artists just do famous , rich people who everyone knows

  22. I really like Rembrandt’s portraits! Did you know that he did more than 600 portraits of himself!

  23. I love this painting its very interesting i think the two circles represent good and bad.

  24. the circles may represent how hes very rich because he can get somebody to do a perfect circle

  25. I think that the circles are there because they used to think that artists could draw perfect circles free-handed.

  26. I think Rembrant was very clever to draw the circles because it shows a very skilled artist if you can draw a perfect circles.

  27. THIS IS HOW HE USE TO BE AND THEY LIKES THIS PAINTING I THINK THE OTHER PAINTINGS BETTER

  28. he was so rich he thought throw around his money look what he’s done to himself, he’s poor his wife died he’s in dept in this old rotten studio but i love his fabulous painting .
    MADMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  29. I like this painting because the man looks really serious and it fits in it because the background is dark.

  30. I liked the paintings as it shows his feelings and you can see that he is a artist from the palet he is holding

  31. I like that at the top of his clothes it’s light and at the bottom it’s dark.
What are the circles behind him?

  32. I predict the circles represent the maps of heaven and hell because one is light like heaven and one is dark like hell!:(
Rembrandt probably always wears his white hat every time he paint a picture of a human.

  33. I love this comment!!! But, in the picture, when he is young. Then, when he was an old man he looked like a lady !!!

  34. This painting is very interesting because there are two different circles (a dark one and a light one) and I think it is the circles of good and bad.

  35. I like this painting because it is neat and with perfection. When did Rembrandt paint this ? I think in 1659

  36. i think Rembrandt makes the picture stand out otherwise it would just have no detail

  37. I love this picture because of the effective background if you can see, there are two circles behind Rembrandt’s frame. The background stands out so much…!

  38. I like this picture because the perfect way as how he drew the two circles on each side of his painting.

  39. I love the meaning of the light and dark circles the meaning is that light circle reminded him of the good times and the dark circle of when
    he was poor.

  40. I like this painting because its light and dark. And its dark because he doesn’t want anyone to see his poor clothes.

  41. I like this painting because in the background there is two perfect circles some people believe that you are mad and a great artist.

  42. This picture could make you feel a bit miserable because it has dark , gloomy colours.

  43. I think Rembrandt drew a perfect circle because he wanted to show what a good artist he is . And I think he chose to wear those type of clothes because he wanted to show what a dull ,gloomy, devastating time it was . I think he was heat broken when he found out he went bankrupt. And he had to sell most of his things to earn a bit of money.

  44. I think that Rembrandt used light and dark colours ……light to show happiness and excitement but dark to represent that he was impoverished and penniless. I also think that Rembrandt chose to wear clothes that made him look wealthy and to convince people that he still is a master artist.

  45. Rembrandt’s self-portrait was to show that he was wealthy and people would think that he’s still a imaginative artist.

  46. To me this is a very interesting painting to observe . Maybe people will be tricked by thinking he looks very wealthy, however he only had a little bit of money…

  47. Did you know that the circle behind him repents that he was mad and also a ( master ) painter?

  48. I think the man Rembrandt was a master painter but then he got robbed but still shows even if he’s not wealthy he can still draw amazing paintings.

  49. What I liked about the picture is that there were two perfect circles that mean you are mad . He thought he was a great artist but in his picture he used dark, dull colours.

  50. I really like the way he painted a self portrait of when he was poor and not when he was wealthy.

  51. I think The Two circles represent happiness and sadness because They are light and dark, Light is happiness, Dark is sadness!

  52. I love the way that the painting is so detailed and he has used dark colours so he can show that he is wealthy.

  53. I like the side near the theatre because then I can watch the plays before anyone else.

      1. I think they represent the two circles of life that people go through. It might be reincarnation.

      2. There are two circles, light and dark. The light circle represents life and the dark circle represents death…

    1. I also think it has much detail as well. If you can draw a perfect circle then that means you are mad and that you are a master painter.

    2. I like it as well.

I also like circles in the background because they give it lots of detail.

  54. I like the circle behind him it looks manifest . How do you do that much strait circle?

    1. I know , people say that if you can draw a perfect circle , it means that you are mad and that you are a master painter.

    2. I really like it a lot because I choose the right side
I really like it a lot because I choose the right side
I really like it because I choose the right
