The poem I think is a very interesting one as it uses the fruit to bring back memories and it shows that he really cares and feels sad about it as he must see fruit a lot and so he will probably cry a lot. I also think it was a recent event as if it happened weeks and weeks ago he wouldn’t cry every time.

I thought the poem was great and loved the idea of all the tropical fruit. When we had to fill in the missing gaps I wrote about Japan and sushi.
